Logging Into and Locking Your Phone

VVX business media phones enable you to sign into the phone with your Skype
or lock your phone.
If your system administrator has set up user credentials for your phone, you can view your personal settings
from any phone that is part of your organization. You can log in to a phone by entering your user ID and
password, and access your contact directory, speed dials, and settings. Contact your system administrator
for your user credentials.
Note: Some of the features described in this section require access to the Basic settings menu on the
phone. If your phone requires a password to access the Basic settings menu, contact your system admin-
istrator for assistance customizing your phone.

Signing into Skype for Business

You can use one of the following methods to sign into your phone with your Skype for Business credentials:
● User ID—enter your user credentials on the phone.
● PIN—enter your PIN Authentication on the phone, if enabled.
● Via PC—when your phone is paired to your computer using Better Together over Ethernet (BToE),
use the Skype for Business client to sign in.
● Web Sign In—when you have a Skype for Business Online account, use the unique website shown
on the phone to sign in.

Sign In Using Your Skype for Business User Credentials

You can sign into Microsoft Skype for Business on your phone with your login credentials, which includes
your domain, email, username, and password. Your system administrator provides you with your login
credentials.

1 Select the Sign In soft key, or select Settings > Features > Skype > Sign In.
2 Select User ID.
3 Enter your user credentials for your Skype for Business account, then select Sign In
A confirmation message is displayed when your phone successfully signs into Skype for Business.
