5.2.4 Check the fuel filter

The fuel filter cannot be disassembled and cleaned, so replace it each season or as soon as
necessary.
Be careful of the insertion direction when replacing.

5.2.5 How to clean the engine cooling system

1) Remove each part after the engine has cooled down, and after cleaning, do not start the
engine without installing all parts.
2) Continuing to work with grass debris accumulated in the engine cooling system is not only
causes overheating, but also causes an increase in engine temperature, which may cause
a fire.
3) Keep your hands away from the rotating screen. There is a risk of injury.
On models with the Briggs engine, the screen guard rotates with the engine.
4) Before each use, remove foreign matter such as mud and grass debris accumulated on the
screen guard.

When air blowing, it is easier to discharge grass debris, etc. by raising the sheet.
(Do not use water such as a high-pressure washer as it may cause engine malfunction.)

cover. If you continue to use the HST, the HST oil temperature will rise and the original
performance of the HST will not be achieved.
After finishing the work, be sure to return the covers that were removed for cleaning.
① Rubber products such as fuel hoses will deteriorate even
if they are not used.
② Replace with a new tightening band every 3 years or
when damaged.
③ Always check for loose or damaged hoses or tightening
bands.
④When replacing, be careful not to let dust get inside the
hose.
