Replace the oil filter by hand without using a tool.
Replace the oil filter once every two engine oil changes or every season.
5.1.4 HST oil check and change

When checking the amount of oil in the HST oil tank, check the oil gauge window. If the oil
Level is not on the oil gauge window, open the oil tank cap and add HST oil until the oil level
can be confirmed.
When changing the HST oil, make sure that the HST tank and HST body have cooled
sufficiently before starting work.
Immediately after the engine is stopped, the temperature is high and there is a risk of burns.
After draining the engine oil, replace the oil filter according
to the following procedure.
①Remove filter A by turning it counterclockwise.
②
To prevent twisting, lightly apply new engine oil to the
gasket (O-ring) of the new filter with your fingertips.
③
Turn the filter clockwise and screw it in until the gasket
begins to contact mounting surface B.
in 3/4 turns.
④
Add new specified oil from the oil filler port.
⑤ After checking the amount of oil on the level cage,
securely tighten the oil filler plug.
⑥
After running the engine at low speed for about 2
minutes, check the oil filter mounting surface for oil ooze.
⑦
Stop the engine, check the oil amount again, and if it
is insufficient, add it.
