EMPTYING THE SEED BOX

The seed box is emptied as follows:

a) Pull out both of the lateral calibration
trays (1) and insert again with the
opening facing upwards. Clean dirty
calibration trays.
b) Open the drainage gates by pressing
the drainage gate lever (2) down-
wards. This moves the hexagonal
shaft (3) into the calibration position.
c) Turn the impulse wheel until the seed
box is full.
d) Every so often, empty the full calibra-
tion trays (1).
e) Then place the drainage gates back
into the sowing position by pulling up
the drainage gate lever (3) above the
hexagonal shaft (4) if you are not go-
ing to carry out calibration sampling
afterwards.
