5.3.5 Sowing shaft transmission ratio
Following calibration test sampling, the Solitronic electronic seed drill control sys-
tem automatically adapts the sowing quantity to the corresponding working speed
within the possible regulation range. The possible speed range is shown on the
control terminal display following calibration test sampling.
If the speed range is too low, the large seed shaft transmission ratio must be se-
lected (2nd gear).
If the speed range is too high, the small seed shaft transmission ratio must be se-
lected (1st gear).

To achieve this, dismantle the protective
cover (5) and connect either the left-hand
gearwheel (1) or the right-hand gearwheel
(2) to the drive shaft (4) of the electric mo-
tor using the linch pin (3).

Caution!
Once the transmission ratio of
the sowing shaft has been
changed, the protective lid (5)
must be reattached and cali-
bration test sampling must be
carried out again.
