(e.g. raising/lowering) and there is a risk of accidents! Regularly check the hydraulic pipes and replace them in the event of damage or signs of ageing. The replacement pipes must comply with the technical specification as laid down by Lemken.

Hydraulic oil escaping at high pressure can penetrate the skin and cause serious injury! Before working hydraulic equipment lower implements/attachments, release hydraulic pressure where possible and switch off the tractor engine. Maintenance Repair-, maintenance- and cleaning operations as well as adjustments and remedy of function faults should principally be conducted with engine stopped and brakes applied.

2 WARNING STICKERS 2.1 General Instructions The LEMKEN FixPack is equipped with all features to ensure safe operation. 3.3 Fitting of the hydraulic ram The hydraulic ram (H1) will be fitted to the arm (F4) and the bracket (F2) as shown on the picture. 3.4 Fitting of the roller The frame tube of the roller (W0) will be fitted at the rear to the bracket of the adjustment device (S1).

4 ADJUSTMENTS 4.1 Length adjustment of the arm The length of the arm (F4) will be adjusted so that the roller (W0) runs always between the second and third body. If necessary displace the carrier (F5) on the arm (F4) as required.

4.4 Reconsolidation and crumbling effect of the roller By means of the pin adjustment (K1) the crumbling effect of the roller can be adjusted. Use pin (K2) which is positioned behind the guiding stop (K3), to adjust the reconsolidation effect. Use pin (K4) which is positioned in front of the guiding stop (K3) to limit the lowering movement of the roller in relation to the arm.

5.2 Knife bar for star roller The knife bar (M1) will be fitted to the front carrier plates (M2) of the star roller. The working depth of the knifes (M3) will be adjusted by means of the pins (M4). If it is required to work without knife bar, the bar must be lifted completely and fixed in this position.

6 PLOUGHING THE FIRST FURROW Depending on ploughing the first furrow in the area of hedges, fences or other obstacles or for example in the area of ditches, it may be necessary to swing-in the FixPack. If the FixPack must be swung in for the first furrow, the first furrow must be ploughed right handed.

Swing-in the roller by means of a hydraulic ram (H1). Now the first furrow can be ploughed. Attention: The roller (W0) integrated packer FixPack is now positioned in a „swung- in“ position. In this position the locking pin (P3) may never be unlocked, as the centre of gravity is raised.

Therefore the plough will be turned in left handed working position, the roller turned by 90° and locked, the axle (P2) locked, the locking pin (P3) locked and the plough turned in right handed working position. After that swing-in the arm (F4) as far as possible to the plough and lock it.

8 PARKING THE PLOUGH WITH ATTACHED FIXPACK The plough with attached FixPack may only be parked on level and firm ground. Before detaching the plough, the stand (A1) must be swung-down and secured by means of the pin (A2). Attention: The FixPack may only be attached to the plough or detached from the plough, when the plough is attached to the tractor.

9 MAINTENANCE All greasing points must be greased first after 5 working hours and then every 20 working hours. The guiding of the locking pins must be greased regularly, in order to ensure their function. Important: Do not clean this implement with a Pressure Washer during the first 6 weeks.
