Take note of the iLO hostname and default login credentials on the iLO information label on the bottom of the server.

1. Unbox the server and verify the contents:

Antislip rubber strips (2)
Printed setup documentation
The server does not ship with OS media. All system software and firmware is preloaded on the server.
2. (Optional) Install the hardware options.
3. Select the server orientation:
Position the server in a horizontal orientation .
Position the server in a vertical orientation.

IMPORTANT:
The iLO shared connectivity of the RJ45 port 1 is dependent on the presence of the iLO enablement module. If this
optional module is not installed, use an in-band communication method for accessing iLO.
4. Connect the network cable:
a. Connect one end of the network cable to the NIC port.
b. Connect the other end of the network cable to a network jack or a network device, such as router or LAN switch.
5. Connect the power cord:
a. Connect the power adapter to the server power jack with the connector secured in the power cord clamp (callout 1).
