Cause
The electric charge of toner inside the developing assembly suddenly changed due to frequent output at
1200 dpi, the change of installation environment (temperature/humidity), or the change of image density.
Service work
1) To show "Auto Adjust Gradation" button for 1200dpi on the display, set "2" or "3" in the following step.
In Service Mode > COPIER > OPTION > DSPLY-SW > HPFL-DSP > set "2" or "3" as the setting value.
- 0: OFF (Default)
- 1: Plain / Heavy
- 2: Standard / For Printer 1200dpi
- 3: Standard(Thin) / Standard(Heavy) / For Printer 1200dpi
2) In the display > "Settings/Reg.Shortcut" > "Auto Adjust Gradation" > For Printer 1200dpi > perform

When printing from PS driver, output in different color if the version of the system software is earlier than
Ver.23.02.
Symptom
When printing from PS driver, some characters or image were printed in different color or not printed.
[1] is output like [2] in different color(blue characters).
Cause
The system software(earlier than MN-CONT Ver.23.02) had a problem in color table for postscript color
matching.
Service work
Upgrade the system software of the machine to Ver.23.02(MN-CONT Ver.23.02) and later.
When upgrading after MN-CONT Ver.61.05, use the combination of versions shown below:
MN-CONT: Ver.23.02/DC-CON: Ver.41.02//Inner Finisher-C1 SORTER: Ver.7.01
