Initiate DH+ to DH+ Communication Via Two Gateway Modules

Configure the Routing Table in the 1756-DHRIO Modules

Start the configuration software:
a. From the Windows NT Start menu, select Programs.
b. Select ControlLogix Gateway > 1756gtwy.
Edit the routing table:
a. From the File menu in the configuration software, select Browse
Network. RSLinx starts.
b. Select the AB_KT_1 Data Highway Plus driver and double-click on the
DHRIO module in slot 1.
c. Select the Routing Table Configuration tab.
d. Double-click on the 1756-DHRIO module and enter the following link
IDs:
Channel A
Channel B
Since no device is connected to channel B of the 1756 DHRIO
module in slot 1, no link number is necessary. We are using 0,
which is not a valid link ID.
e. Click on OK.
f. Right click on Backplane [Link Undefined] and select Add Module.
