Changing Rights Associated with Locations

A Location is a group of Wheres, and some set of rights associated with the
location itself. A Where is a WLAN Access Manager or a WLAN Access Manager
port or a specific client. Locations are also associated with Whens, the times that
the location is available to groups of clients. See
is Valid
for more information on changing the times associated with a group.
6.4.1

Why Change Rights

You must configure the initial rights that are associated with a location to enable
the SMC WLAN Secure Server. After configuring initial rights, you might need to
add locations, modify the rights associated with a location, or delete locations
because the locations or the functions housed in the location might change.
