Follow the instructions in this section to recycle components with compliance with local laws or regulations.

Disassemble the system board assembly for recycle

Follow the instructions in this section to disassemble the system board assembly before recycling.
Note: Make sure you have SR675 V3 Misc Kit available to perform this task.
About this task
Before disassembling the system board assembly:
1. Remove the system board assembly from the server. See
board" on page 140.
2. Remove the Firmware and RoT Security Module from the system I/O board. See
and RoT security module" on page
3. Refer to local environmental, waste or disposal regulations to ensure compliance.
Procedure
Step 1. Remove the following components as illustrated:
• Two spacers (with 8 mm wrench)
• Five guide pins (with 7 mm wrench)
• Two hex nuts (with 5 mm wrench)
• One lifting handle (with PH2 screwdriver)
