Remove PCIe riser 2 installed with serial port module
Procedure
Step 1. Make preparation for this task.
a. Remove the top cover. See
b. Disconnect the cables that are connected to the PCIe riser and the PCIe adapter.
Step 2. Remove the PCIe riser 2 installed with serial port module.
a. Unfasten the thumbscrew on the PCIe riser.
b. Slightly lift the PCIe riser, and disconnect the serial port cable from the system board
assembly.
c. Lift the PCIe riser out of the chassis.

After you finish
1. If no PCIe riser is going to be installed to the chassis, install a riser filler into the chassis. See
