Remove PCIe riser 1 installed with serial port module
Procedure
Step 1.
Make preparation for this task.
a.
Remove the top cover. See
b.
Disconnect the cables that are connected to the PCIe riser and the PCIe adapter.
Step 2.
If the PCIe riser 2 is installed, remove it from the chassis. See

Remove the PCIe riser 1 installed with serial port module.
a.
Disconnect the serial port cable from the system board assembly.
b.
Unfasten the thumbscrew on the PCIe riser.
c.
Lift the PCIe riser out of the chassis.
