Power windows
The main window switches are located
between the front seats.
The switches are operational when the
ignition is turned to ON or the UNLOCK
button on the key is pressed; green lights
on the switches indicate when they are
active.
To raise the window, pull up the switch; to
lower, push down the switch.
Rear windows can also be operated by
individual switches located on the rear
doors.
These
rear door switches
deactivated I reactivated by pressing the
"child safety" switch in the centre console.
The rear window switches are deactivated
when the switch is in the down position.
"Auto down" - driver's window only
Hold the switch down for more than half of a second and remove your finger. To interrupt
the "auto down" move the switch up or down again.
Rock the down button to open the window in short steps.
Time delay
The windows can be operated for about one hour after turning off the ignition or pressing
UNLOCK on the car key, provided all the doors are kept shut. Once a door is opened,
the windows can only be operated for 45 seconds. The green "active" light on the
switches will go off when the time delay finishes.
Pressing LOCK on the car key immediately deactivates the windows.
