Interior (dome) light
The light in the centre of the roof can be
switched to:
OFF
(always off)
ON
(always on)
DOORS
or
DOORS: The light automatically switches
on when a door is opened and switches off
seconds after all doors are closed.

Switching the ignition on, however, switches
the light off immediately (unless a door is
open).
"Doors" is the centre position for the switch.
For your convenience, at night, the interior
light will automatically switch on for
seconds when the ignition is switched off.
This feature can, however, be electronically
turned off by your Holden Dealer, if required.
Battery saver
-
To help save the battery, a "battery saver" feature has been built into this car. It will
activate when there has been no electrical change (nothing switched on or off) for
after the ignition has been switched off. At this time all the internal lights will switch off:
dome, reading, foot well, ignition, door, glove box and boot. The light system is woken
up by many things, such as opening a door or switching on the ignition. However, if the
dome light switches off after
be woken up by switching the dome light off and on. It is suggested that the ignition
switch be turned to ON, then back to OFF to wake up the affected electrical systems,
if required.
The battery saver can be adjusted anywhere between
Holden Dealer. The
Front spot lights
Front spot lights are incorporated in the dome light assembly. Press the individual
switches to turn the spot lights off or on, as required.
Rear reading lights
The rear reading lights (above the rear
doors) may be individually turned to OFF,
ON or to DOOR. If DOOR is selected, then
they operate in conjunction with the centre
dome light.
