The main fuse panel is in the instrument
panel, below the steering column, on the
right hand side.
Pull the hinged fuse panel down to reveal
the fuses.
The separate, fuse/relay box is located in
the engine compartment, marked "Fuses".
Access to these fuses is gained by removing
the snap-on cover.
Both covers have diagrams showing the
layout of the fuses and the amperage rating.
To determine whether or not a fuse is
"blown", it is necessary to pull outthe suspect
fuse and examine the element in the fuse.
A fuse puller is provided on the underside of
the fuse panel cover, inside the car.
If the fuse has blown, replace with one of
the same amperage, as stamped on the
fuse head.
If a fuse blows twice in a row a fault is
indicated. The cause should be promptly
located and fixed.
Ensure that the fuse cover, either inside the
car, or under the bonnet, is securely in
place.
CAUTION: When replacing a fuse be sure
to use a fuse of the specified amperage.
Never install a wire or similar as it could
damage electrical components and cause
a fire.
