KNOW YOUR CAR
One anchor fitting was installed in your
car, in the centre position, shown on the
previous page.
The illustrations on this page show how to
install additional anchor fittings to the other
anchorage points. These can be purchased
fiOm youi Holden Dealei.
These illustrations are only applicable to
child restraints approved to Australian
Standard AS 1754-1991 (and subsequent
amendments). These illustrations are not
applicable to earlier child restraints, as
these restraints may not attach securely to
this type of anchor fitting.
If you wish to put a child restraint in either
of the outer positions, first remove the
cover plug.
Then, install an additional anchor fitting,
using the bolt, lock washer and spacer, as
per the illustrations. Ensure that the bolts
are securely tightened between 15 and 25
Newton metres. Check with your Holden
Dealer if unsure.
