KNOW YOUR CAR
The middle section of the rear seat may be
folded forwards to gain access to the boot
area or for carrying long, awkward loads.
To fold the middle section forward, push
down the lock button at the top of the middle
section.
To return to the upright position, simply
push back into place and check to ensure
the lock button is engaged and the seat belt
is free.
A stowage pocket is provided at the front of
the seat cushion, as shown.
An armrest is provided in the middle section.
To fold down the armrest, insert your hand
at top of the armrest and pull down. Push up
armrest if upright position is required.
On higher luxury models, the arm rest can
be used as a stowage containei. V'v'hen the

Note that the small toggles located under
the front of the rear seat are provided for
ease of seat removal. They are not designed
for any other purpose.
Rear head restraints
This safety feature is not intended as a headrest. It is solely for the reduction of whiplash
neck movement in a car accident.
The upper edge of the head restraint should be approximately at eye level, never at neck
level. To adjust the height of the outer head restraints, pull up or push down, as required.
To raise the centre head restraint, pull upwards. To lower, push in the release button at
the base of the head restraint and then lower the head restraint.
