Emission label
Body and Option Plate
This plate shows model identification, body serial number, trim number, paint number,
engine, transmission, axle ratio options, suspension options (where applicable) and
built date. The built date is defined as "the date of manufacture" by calendar month and
year in which the body shell and power train sub-assemblies are co-joined and the car
is driven or moved from the production line.
Safety Compliance Plate (Australian cars)
Shown on the plate are the vehicle Make, Model Series, Date of Manufacture, Vehicle
Identification Number, approved seating
and Approval Number.
Emission label
