SERVICING
Service intervals
The first service is due at 1,500 km, then at 10,000 km, 20,000 km, 30,000 km etc.
Distance based service intervals
The Maintenance Plan for your car has been developed for the convenience of the
average driver, who drives approximately 10,000 km in 6 months.
If you drive less than 10,000 km in 6 months some oils have to be changed more
frequently. The oils in the car deteriorate with age. Refer to page 12-4 for more
information about abnormal operating
Service reminder message
A service reminder message is built into the trip computer.
The reminder message first appeais 1 ,000 km befOie the service is actually due, giving
you time to arrange for the service to be carried out. The message shows on the Trip
computer tor 1 0 seconds whenever the car's ignition is switched ON or OFF, until the trip
computer is reset. When the service is overdue the message flashes for 1 0 seconds
when the ignition is turned ON or OFF.
SERV 1500 km shows when the car has travelled 500 km since it was built.

SERV 10,000 km shows when the car has travelled 9,000 km since it was built.

SERV 20000 km shows when the car has travelled 19,000 km since it was built.

The trip computer will be reset for you by your Holden Dealer when you take the car in
to be serviced. If, for some reason, you wish to reset the reminder message yourself,
follow the sequence below:
1 . Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Hold down the trip computer • and T buttons together.
3. Turn the ignition ON while still holding down both buttons.
4. After approx. 3 seconds, release both
