DASH
Speedometer
The speedometer shows vehicle speed in
kilometres per hour.
Tachometer
The tachometer shows engine speed in
revolutions per minute (r.p.m.). Sustained
operation in the RED zone may cause
serious engine damage.
Under wide open throttle acceleration
(accelerator pedal pushed flat to the floor)
it is possible that the tachometer needle
may briefly touch/enter the lower end of the
tachometer's red zo ne ju st p r i o r t o
automatically upshifting into a higher gear.
This is normal during wide open throttle
and will not harm the engine.
Fuel gauge
The fuel gauge shows the level of fuel in the fuel tank when the ignition is switched ON.
NOTE: Small additions of fuel (less than 15 litres) may take up to 10 minutes to register
on the fuel gauge; larger amounts will show up almost
that fuel slosh, when cornering, will not register on the gauge.
