Setting DIP switches on a HSSI function processor

Set DIP switches on a HSSI function processor to DCE or DTE before you
install the FP in a shelf.
1 To set the HSSI function processor from DCE to DTE operation, set all
poles of the DIP switch to the convert position. See the figure "DIP switch
location and setting on HSSI function processors" (page 519).
2 Ensure that you set the DIP switch completely to DCE or DTE before you
install the function processor in the shelf.
