PC DRUM CHARGING SECTION

• The PC Drum Charge Corona has a Scorotron grid to deposit a negative DC charge
evenly across the surface of the PC Drum.
• The grid voltage (VG) applied to the grid mesh is kept in the range between –400 and
–1100V by the Constant-Voltage Circuit in High Voltage Unit 1 HV1. The constant volt-
age of HV1 is determined through image stabilization control.
