19-2. Fusing Roller Pressure Mechanism

• To ensure that there is a certain width of area of contact between the Upper and Lower

Fusing Rollers, compression springs are installed at the front and rear ends of the Lower

Fusing Roller.

• Tightening the Fusing Unit Pressure Adjusting Screw presses the Lower Fusing Roller up

against the Upper Fusing Roller, while loosening it relaxes the Lower Fusing Roller.
