10 Color Correction: PWB-C

Reflection/Density Conversion

• Color reproduction faithful to the original is not possible if the original reflection data (R,

G, B) obtained through the CCD Sensor is converted to the complementary color data

for developing.

Example: White

• The R, G, and B data are therefore input to the LOG table shown below to convert to the

density data (DR, DG, and DB).
