CHAPTER 3 - CONFIGURING THE LIBRARY
R
ESET THE
For internal communication between modules, the tape library uses an Ethernet
connection with an internal IP address range. To prevent any conflict between the
internal IP address range and the external IP addresses, it is required to select the
internal IP range before the tape library connects to the external Ethernet network.
Use the following instructions if you need to change the internal IP range after its
initial configuration during the library installation:
1. Navigate to the Configuration > Network screen.
2. If necessary, click Reset Internal IP Range (in case of conflict) to expand the
section and then click Submit. The library reboots. When the library completes
its initialization, the Internal and External IP Conflict Prevention screen displays
on the OCP.
