Installation Checklist
The influence of the volatilized UV ink on the eye, nose, and throat
C AUTIO N
The volatilized UV ink may stimulate the eye, nose, and throat. Be sure to wear the UV-proof goggles and antibromic mask
if you replace the print head under the light shielding curtain.
It is recommended to wear the goggles and antibromic mask because the symptoms vary between individuals and work
hours.
The influence of UV ink on the skin
C AUTIO N
It is recommended to wear the gloves when performing the maintenance operations of the machine.
In the event of contacting with the skin, immediately wash with water and neutral soap.
Protection against the light* during the service activity
C AUTIO N
Be sure to use the UV-proof sheet when the ink line is exposed to the light during the replacement, or ink will harden and
clog the ink line And it results in a serious influence to the machine.
* The light means the light which includes the ultraviolet. Consider that most of the light including fluorescent light includes the
ultraviolet.
