Print Head Alignment
Notes when attaching carriage cover
NOTE
When you attach the print-head carriage cover, loosely tighten four screws shown to hold the print-head carriage cover first,
then tighten them fully without distorting the cover .
C AUTION
Be careful not to distort the print-head carriage cover when tightening two front screws . If the cover is distorted, the print
head position may shift .
Workflow
C AUTION
• Print head alignment is necessary to obtain the good printing quality . . Be sure to operate the print head alignment when
the print head is replaced . If the print heads are not aligned, printing problems such as banding, fine lines and gaps
between bands could occur .
• PET-G is recommended for this adjustment .
• To prevent hardened ink from entering into the nozzle, refresh print head before the adjustment . Perform medium
cleaning on all print heads if 20 minutes passes .
