When a connection with a device is
established, the Synchronize with Device
dialog box opens (see figure 23).
Pull — Pulls the configuration
•
file, presets, macros, and ACP
configurations from the device and
displays it in the DSP Configurator main
workspace.
Push — Pushes the configuration
•
file, presets, and AT Input Channel
names open in DSP Configurator to the
connected device. This will overwrite any
configuration currently on the device.
NOTE: AT Input Channel names are
only pushed when the checkbox is
selected.
Select the Selected radio button to
open the DSP Configurator dialog box
with a list of the available presets (see
figure 24).

Once push or pull is completed, the current
state of the connected device is displayed in
the DSP Configurator status panel and the
device is ready for further configuration.
Exit Live Mode and Enter Emulate Mode

Click the Emulate button in the DSP Configurator menu bar.
Alternatively, select Tools > Disconnect from Device or press <F6> on the
keyboard.

Click OK to confirm.
Emulate Mode
While in Emulate mode, DSP Configurator is functioning in an "offline" state. Changes made
to the configuration file are not applied to a DMP 64 Plus.
In Emulate mode, the user can create and configure the software as though a device was
connected, except for any actions that require direct connection to the device or information
that is stored only on the device. Once configuration is complete, the user can switch to
mode and apply the configuration to the device or save the configuration file to be
Live
loaded onto one or multiple devices at a later time.
Creating configuration files in Emulate mode saves time by not requiring a device to be
connected or present in order for the bulk of DSP configuration to be completed.
NOTE: Not all menu options or actions are available in Emulate mode.
