INSTRUCTION MANUAL REGARDING USE AND MAINTENANCE
TO BE KEPT BY THE USER
1. INTRODUCTION
Submersible pumps are multi-stage centrifugal pumps that are de-
signed as their submersible electric motors work under the water. Mo-
tor bearings are lubricated with the water that is filled inside the sub-
mersible electric motor and cooling operation for the bearings is pro-
vided by the water in the well that's flowing around the body of motor.
THE REPRODUCTION, EVEN PARTIAL, OF THE ILLUSTRATIONS
AND/OR TEXT HEREIN IS FORBIDDEN.
The following symbols are used throughout the instruction booklets:

packaging is not broken or seriously damaged. If it is, immediately in-
form the person who delivered it. After extracting the motor pump from
its packaging, make sure that it was not damaged during transporta-
tion. I Check the motor-driven pump plate to ensure that the indicated
characteristics are those requested by you.
The following parts, being normally subject to wear, have a limited
guarantee:
• bearings
• mechanical seals and/or gasket
If a fault that is not listed in the "TROUBLESHOOTING" table (chapter
10.1.) occurs, please contact the nearest authorized retailer.
5. TECHNICAL-PRODUCTION CHARACTERISTICS
5.1. DESCRIPTION AND USE OF MOTOR-DRIVEN PUMP
Description:
SUBMERSIBLE CENTRIFUGAL MOTORDRIVEN PUMPS
Pump Model: BSP SS
5.2. USE FOR WHICH PUMPS ARE DESIGNED
The pumps can be used for lifting and distributing clean water or water
with a sand content not exceeding the limit given in chap. 6.4.
The submersible motor-driven pumps are used:
a) Water supply from borehole wells
b) Agricultural irrigation
c) Industrial applications
d) Mining fountains
e) Pressure boosting
Use the motor-driven pumps based on their technical
specifications.
5.3. USE FOR WHICH PUMPS ARE NOT DESIGNED
The submersible motor-driven pumps must not be made to
without water. If there is any chance of the waterbed lowering to a
point where the pump will be exposed, you will need to install a mini-
mum-level sensor as a safety measure.
5.4. SPECIFICATIONS
BSP series pumps in versions with a water-bath motor and the non-re-
turn valve is built into the pump;
