Filling Powder Chemicals Using the TurboFiller

1. Fill the MainTank at least 1/2 with water (unless otherwise stated on the chemical container label). See section "Filling
of water".
2. Press
to enable suction from MainTank.
3. Press
to enable use of TurboFiller.
4. Press
to enter the agitation menu.
5. Set the agitation valve as required:

A fully open agitation valve will result in very little suction capacity from the TurboFiller.

Preferred when agitation is necessary for mixing very dense chemicals, while transferring from the

TurboFiller.

Preferred when agitation is necessary for mixing, while transferring chemicals from the TurboFiller.
Preferred when transferring the powder into the tank requires more suction from the TurboFiller, but

mixing does not require much agitation.
A fully closed agitation valve will result in no agitation, while transferring the powder into the tank,

resulting in poor mixing.

ATTENTION! Changing the suction restrictor for the TurboFiller, may be necessary for increased suction capacity from
the TurboFiller. Contact your HARDI dealer for further advice.
DANGER! Before pressing
correct and completely fitted to the filling coupler into its locked position. Failure to do so may cause risk of
contamination and injury from the PressureEmpty quick coupler lid being "shot" off when pressurized! If not possible
to fit the quick coupler lid completely, lubricate the rubber seal and the grip hooks.
6. Engage the pump and set PTO speed at max. 540 RPM or 1000 RPM (depending on pump model).
7. Open the TurboFiller lid.
8. Open the TurboDeflector valve.
9. Engage the hopper transfer device by opening the TurboFiller
suction valve (A) to transfer chemicals to the MainTank.
10. Measure the correct amount of powdered chemical and sprinkle it
into the hopper as fast as the transfer device can flush it down.
11. The TurboFiller suction valve (A) must be open for at least 20
seconds after the chemical is no longer visible in the hopper, in
order to empty the transfer hoses completely into the MainTank.
DANGER! If the TurboFiller and the transfer hoses not completely
emptied, there is a risk of chemicals flowing back into the hopper!
DANGER! Always wear face shield and other appropriate personal safety equipment, when filling chemicals.
