I Auto repeater

(U.S.A. version only)
The U.S.A. version automatically activates the repeater set-
tings (DUP or DUP– and tone encoder ON/OFF) when the
operating frequency falls within the general repeater output
frequency range and deactivates them when outside of the
range.
D Setting the auto repeater function ON/OFF

Push [PWR] to turn power OFF.

While pushing [SET] (far right switch), turn power ON to
enter initial set mode.

Push [SET] one or more times until the "rPt" display ap-
pears as shown below.
Auto repeater function is
turned OFF

Rotate the tuning dial to turn the auto repeater function to
"r1," "r2" or OFF.
• "r1": auto repeater is ON, tone encoder is OFF;
"r2": auto repeater is ON, tone encoder is ON.

Push [PWR] momentarily to exit initial set mode.
