© Setting an offset frequency
uswo SET MODE
When communicating through a repeater, the transmit fre-
quency is shifted from the receive frequency by an amount
determined by the offset frequency.
@ Push [VFO] to select VFO mode.
@ Push [FUNC] + [®SET] to enter set
mode.
@ Push [A] or [V] until "OW" ap-
pears.
@ Rotate [DIAL] to select the offset
frequency.
* [FUNC] + [DIAL] allows 100 kHz se-
lection.
® Push [(vFo)CLR] to set the condi-
tion and to exit set mode.

(U.S.A. only)
The U.S.A. version automatically activates the repeater set-
tings (duplex ON/OFF, duplex direction, tone encoder ON/OFF)
when the operating frequency falls within or outside of the gen-
eral repeater output frequency range, respectively. The offset
frequency and subaudible tone frequency are not changed by
the auto repeater function, reset these, if necessary.

® Push [A] or [V] until "Ar' appears.
@ Rotate [DIAL] to select the desired
auto repeater condition as at right.

tion and to exit set mode.
