24 System settings

24.26 Configure permissions and customize the "Monitor" screen

For the "Restricted user" profile, you can add or remove a permission to edit a parameter on
the "Marking settings" screen. You can also specify which marking file settings are displayed
on the "Monitor" screen.
1.
Establish an online connection between your PC and the laser marking system.
2.
Go to the "System settings" screen and select "Access permissions".
3.
You can configure the parameters that are shown in the "Permissions" column.
Add or remove a permission to edit parameters with the "Restricted user" profile:
Customize the "Monitor" screen:

Select "Apply to laser marking system" in the ribbon to save the settings.
The new settings will be updated in the laser marking system.

You can add or remove a permission to edit a parameter and specify a range for some
parameters and reference character strings that can be edited with the "Restricted user"
profile. You can also specify which marking file settings are displayed on the "Monitor"
screen.

Establish an online connection between your PC and the laser marking system.
2.
Go to the "System settings" screen and select "Access permissions".
3.
To specify advanced settings, select "More settings".
The dialog opens.

You can configure the parameters that are shown in the "Permissions" column.
Add or remove a permission to edit parameters with the "Restricted user" profile:

Select the check box in the "Restricted user" column, to add the permission for
editing the parameter on the "Marking settings" screen.
To remove the permission, deselect the check box.
If you select a check box in the "Monitor" column, the selected parameter is
displayed on the "Monitor" screen.
Deselect the check box if you do not want to show the parameter on the "Monitor"
screen.
