Product configuration

The product configuration includes a laser head, a controller, a PC and for LP-RV an
oscillator unit.
If all necessary components are in place, the installation of Laser Marker NAVI smart takes
at least 5 minutes.
The following figure shows an example of a laser marking system configuration. The
illustration of the laser head and controller may differ from your laser marking system.
(1) Laser head
The laser head emits the laser beam. Inside are the optical components and the galvano scanner.
(2) Controller
The controller generates the marking data. It provides the main power supply of the laser marker
and the interfaces for external devices.
(3) USB cable
The USB cable connects the controller with a personal computer (PC).
(4) PC - not included in the product package
To configure the laser marker, you must connect a PC and install Laser Marker NAVI smart
provided on the CD-ROM.
(5) CD-ROM with Laser Marker Smart Utility software
The software package "Laser Marker Smart Utility" contains the PC configuration software Laser
Marker NAVI smart, additional software tools, and various documents. The software is required to
configure the laser marking system and create the marking data (online or offline). You can also
use the software to control and to monitor the marking process (online).
