27 Troubleshooting
Marking position is not correct
Cause:
The laser head direction set in the PC configuration software does
not correspond to the actual installation direction.
A system offset was specified in the "System settings".
Remedy:
Check the laser head direction and system offset values specified in the
"System settings".

Marking quality

When you are not satisfied with the marking result, check the position and environment of
the workpiece, the condition of the laser system, or the laser settings.
Marking result is totally or partially faded
Cause:
The laser emission port is not clean.
Remedy:
Clean the laser emission port by following the instructions in the
"Setup and Maintenance Guide".
LP-RF, LP-RV: If contaminants persist, replace the protection glass of
the laser emission port.
Cause:
Fumes created during the marking hinder the laser beam.
Remedy:
Install a dust collector to eliminate fumes (smoke) generated during the
marking and make sure the dust is properly collected.
Cause:
The distance to the workpiece is not appropriate.
Remedy:
Adjust the distance between the bottom surface of the laser head and
the marking surface of the workpiece.
