CRANKSHAFT/PISTON/CYLINDER
Install the crankpin bearing caps [1].
Be sure to install each part in its original position, as
noted during removal. Do not reuse the improperly
installed connecting rod and bearing cap, because their
mating surfaces are damaged.
Align the I.D. code number on the connecting rods.
Apply engine oil to the crankpin bearing cap bolt (reuse)
