4.7.1 Serial Encapsulation Mode Setting

You use the S
parameter of your RLX2-IHx series radio.

When the session is established, the serial port is enabled to transmit and receive
packets.

Description
Specifies the serial encapsulation that the radio uses in serial
communication.
N
- No serial data encapsulation.
ONE
UDP - You can use programs on networked computers to send short
messages or Datagrams. The radio uses the serial port to transmit and
receive packets.
Note: In UDP mode if you enter a multicast group address in the

TCP S
- Only connections from this address will be accepted.
ERVER
Once the session is established, the serial port is enabled to transmit
and receive packets.
Note: To accept connections from any IP address the parameter
should be set to 0.0.0.0.

- In TCP Client mode, a TCP connection will be established
