3. Clean around the head of the filter.
4. Place a container beneath the filter to collect any oil that
may leak out.
5. Unscrew filter (A) with a filter wrench.
6. Dispose of the used oil and filter in a manner that complies
with local rules and regulations.

Installing Charge Filter

The charge filter removes particulate contaminants from the oil before the oil is directed into the traction and header
drive pumps.
NOTE:
For the charge filter replacement part number, refer to
1. Clean the gasket surface of the filter head.
2. Apply a thin film of clean oil to the filter gasket.
IMPORTANT:
Do NOT pre-fill the filter before installation as this may introduce unfiltered oil into the system.
3. Screw new filter (A) onto the mount until the gasket just
contacts the filter head.
4. Tighten the filter an additional 1/2 turn by hand.
IMPORTANT:
Do NOT use a filter wrench to install the oil filter;
overtightening can damage the gasket and filter.
5. Check hydraulic fluid levels. For instructions, refer to
