2.26.2 Creeper control on tractors with GB 24x12

The rules for creeper control on tractors with GB 24x12 are identical to creeper control on

tractors with GB 16x18.

With the help of a creeper, tractor speed is additionally reduced by 4,5 times at forward

travel gears of range "A" when the reduction unit lowest "L" or highest "H" pass, i.e. "A

and "A

", is on, as well as at reverse travel gears of range "R" when the reduction unit

lowest "L" or highest "H" pass, i.e. "R

" and "R

", is on.

ATTENTION: IN ORDER TO AVOID TRANSMISSION FAILURE AND OIL OVERHEAT-

ING IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO USE A CREEPER WHEN GEARS 5 AND 6 OF

RANGES "A

" AND "R

" ARE ON.

2.27 Gears and ranges shifting of GB 24х12

Against order your tractor can be equipped with gearbox 24х12 which provides twenty-four

forward speeds and twelve reverse speeds.

1 – shifting lever of GB ranges; 2 – gear and pass shifting lever of GB reduction unit; 3 –

diagram of GB reduction unit gear and pass shifting; 4 – diagram of GB range shifting; 5 –

button of GB reduction unit lower pass (L) activation; 6 – button of GB reduction unit higher

pass (H) activation; 7 – annunciator of GB reduction unit lower pass activation; 8 – annun-

ciator of GB reduction unit higher pass activation.

Setting the required gear is performed with gear and pass shifting lever of GB reduction

unit 2 (figure 2.27.1) according to scheme 3.

Setting the required GB range is performed with shifting lever of GB ranges 1 according to

scheme 4.

Pressing button 5 or 6 on the shifting lever handle of GB reduction unit gear and pass 2

switches on a lower or a higher pass of GB reduction unit correspondingly. Indication of

the activated GB reduction unit pass is performed with annunciators 7 and 8 located on

lever 2 handle and on RADL control board, with FDA drive and PTO. Activation annuncia-

tor of GB reduction unit lower pass on lever 2 handle is green; activation annunciator of

GB reduction unit higher pass is red.
