2.26 Creeper control
2.26.1 Creeper control on tractors with GB16x8
Against order your tractor can be equipped with a creeper.
The creeper is intended to be mounted on tractors, coupled with implements, requiring low
speeds of travel.
The creeper additionally reduces tractor speed at the gears of the first range for forward
and reverse travel by 4.5 times each.
If you need to use the gears of the first range for forward and reverse travel with their rated
ratio, it is enough to turn off the creeper.
The creeper is controlled by a double-lever mechanism with links 1 and 2 (figure 2.26.1),
brought into the cab to the left of the driver's seat.
The creeper shall be operated in the following way:
to turn on the creeper, it is required to depress the clutch pedal and to shift down link 1
closest to the driver's seat, at the min. idle speed of the operating engine;
then, before starting the movement, engage the required gear with the gear levers and re-
leasing the clutch pedal smoothly, shift up link 2 of the creeper farthest from the driver's
seat;
to change the gear, depress the clutch pedal, engage the required gear with the gear lev-
ers and release the clutch pedal smoothly;
to turn off the creeper, force link 2 in, and pull link 1 out until pushers of both links get se-
cured by the securing mechanism, located in the creeper body. The design of the securing
mechanism excludes the possibility of simultaneous shifting of both links as well as their
engagement one by one.

OF THE SECOND RANGE FOR FORWARD TRAVEL AND FOR REVERSE. HOWEVER,
IN ORDER TO AVOID TRANSMISSION FAILURE AND OIL OVERHEATING
IT IS
FORBIDDEN TO OPERATE THE TRACTOR WITH THE CREEPER TURNED ON AT
GEARS OF THE SECOND RANGE FOR FORWARD AND FOR REVERSE TRAVEL!
