2.20 Switching unit and electric cutout fuses

2.20.1 General information

Electric cutout fuses are intended for the protection of electrical lines against overloads
and short circuit.
WARNING: TO AVOID BURNING OF TRACTOR WIRING, NEVER USE FUSES WITH
CURRENT RATING HIGHER THAN THE RATINGS SPECIFIED IN THIS SECTION. IF A
FUSE OFTEN BURNS OUT, FIND OUT THE CAUSE AND ELIMINATE THE FAILURE!

2.20.2 Switching unit and fuses for electrical equipment

Switching unit 3 (figure 2.20.1) is intended for current supply, its distribution among the
consumers of tractor electrical equipment and for the protection of electrical lines against
current overloads and short circuit.
