iRIS8 - Addressable Fire Alarm Panel – Installer Programming
If the addressing is successful, the message
SUCCESSFUL is shown on the screen. The panel enters
in reset mode. In NUMBER OF DEVICES field is
presented the total number of addressed devices in the
loop. Press MORE button for detail information about
branches.
The installer can select next loop number to proceed, or to exit from the menu with EXIT button.

3.2.9.5. Loop Zero Address

This is a special menu for quick finding of devices with set "0" (Zero) address. The "0" address is invalid and must be
changed with other valid address in the addressable system configuration. This is a rare situation but it is possible to
happen during addressing a big number of devices.
If a "0" address is detected for a device the panel will announce that with a fault message "Loop Zero Address". The
"General Fault" LED will light on the front panel.
To find the devices with "0" address, the installer has to enter in the installer's menu - ADDRESSING - LOOP ZERO
ADDRESS.
Note: The mini module SensoIRIS MINP M has no LED or sound indication to test for "0" address presence.
To end the test, press the button to TURN ON position or press EXIT button.

3.3. Inputs

Enter INPUTS menu. The menu includes submenus for settings and programming of the different type inputs supported
from iRIS8 panel. In a separate submenu the Installer sets group numbers for the inputs and the logic of operation.
The located branches are displayed in a table with
information about the number of found devices into them.
In column ADDRESS are displayed the set address
number of the devices for every of the branches. Press
EXIT button to return into AUTOADDRESSING main
screen.
The Zero Address Test will be performed to the loop
number which is currently selected on the screen. You
can change the number of the tested loop using the arrow
buttons next to LOOP NUMBER field.
To start the test, press TURN ON button - it will change to
TURN OFF. The LEDs of all devices with invalid "0"
address will light on permanently. The sounders without
LED indication (WSOU, WSOU IS, BSOU, BSOU IS) will
be activated. In this way the installer can find the actual
location of the devices and to program real addresses to
them according the exact application.
