2) Select the adjustment mode with the scroll key.
3) Enter the adjustment value with 10-key and press [OK] key.
When the adjustment value is increased, reproducibility of the
background and the low density image is increased. When the
adjustment value is decreased, reproducibility of the back-
ground and the low density image is decreased.
Display/Item
A COPY : OC Copy mode (for OC)
B COPY : RSPF Copy mode (for RSPF)
C SCAN : OC Scanner mode (for OC)
D SCAN : RSPF Scanner mode (for RSPF)
E FAX : OC FAX mode (for OC)
F FAX : RSPF FAX mode (for RSPF)

Copy/Scan low density image density
adjustment (for each mode)
(No need to adjust normally) (Effective only
for the color scan function)
This adjustment is used to adjust the image density in the low den-
sity area in the scanner mode.
This adjustment is required in the following cases.
* When there is a desire not to reproduce the background of the
document. When there is a desire to reproduce the low density
image of the document.
* When there is request from the user.
1) Enter the SIM 46-63 mode.
