1.12 Logging off/Logging onto the Moneris Test Host

To ensure that unauthorized transactions cannot be processed once a terminal has been
initialized and logged on, merchants are instructed to log their terminal off at the end of each
business day (see Logging Off below). Merchants must then log on again to process transactions
(see Logging On below).
1.12.1

Logging off

1. From the WELCOME BONJOUR screen:
2. Press the key twice.
3. The ENTER ADMIN CODE entry screen appears.
4. Key in 03, and press the green
The terminal communicates with the Moneris Test Host.
5. When the PLEASE LOGON screen appears, it means the terminal has been logged off the
Moneris Test Host and cannot be used again to process transactions until it has been logged
on again (see below).

Logging On

1. Begin at the PLEASE LOGON screen.
2. Press the key twice.
The ENTER ADMIN CODE entry screen appears.
3. Key in 02, and press the green
The SWIPE ADMIN CARD prompt appears.
4. Swipe your POS Admin card.
The terminal communicates with the Moneris Test Host.
5. When the WELCOME/BONJOUR screen appears, it means the terminal is ready to process
transactions.
