2.9 Configuring the Cash Back Limit

Follow the steps below to establish the maximum cash back amount entered during a debit
Purchase.
Note: The Cash Back feature (see page 24) must be enabled before you follow the steps below.
1. Begin at the WELCOME/BONJOUR screen.
2. Press the key twice.
The ENTER ADMIN CODE entry screen appears.
3. Key in 08, and press the green
The GENERAL PARAMETERS menu appears.
4. Scroll down to CASH BACK LIMIT, and press the green
The CASH BACK LIMIT entry screen appears.
5. Key in the Cash Back limit, and press the green
Note: This value is a numeric data item ranging from 10 to 990 in increments of 10 (i.e. from
$10 to $990.00). The default value is 40 (Cash Back Preset Amount 2 + 20). This limit will apply
only to Cash Back Preset Amount 3 when OTHER is selected during a transaction.
The GENERAL PARAMETERS menu appears.
6. Press the red key twice to return to the WELCOME/BONJOUR screen.

2.10 Changing the Terminal Language

Follow the steps below to change the terminal language.
Note: The ECR's display language will not be changed.
1. Begin at the WELCOME/BONJOUR screen.
2. Press the key twice.
The ENTER ADMIN CODE entry screen appears.
3. Key in 04, and press the green
The LANGUAGE menu appears.
4. Scroll to a language (ENGLISH or FRANCAIS), and press the green
The MAIN MENU appears.
5. Press the red key to return to the WELCOME/BONJOUR screen.
