2.11 Enabling Moneris Gift and Loyalty Cards

Follow the steps below to enable the Moneris Gift and Loyalty program on the terminal.
1. Begin at the WELCOME/BONJOUR screen.
2. Press the key twice.
The ENTER ADMIN CODE entry screen appears.
3. Key in 310, and press the green
The SETUP menu appears.
4. Press the green key to select ENABLE ERNEX.
The ENABLE ERNEX? prompt appears.
5. Press the key to select YES.
6. Scroll down to ROUTING CODE, and press the green
The ENTER ERNEX ROUTING CODE entry screen appears.
7. Key in 79, and press the green
The SETUP menu appears.
8. Press the green key to select INITIALIZATION.
The ENTER ERNEX TERMINAL ID entry screen appears.
9. Key in the Ernex Test Terminal ID, and press the green
10. Wait while the terminal communicates with the Moneris Test Host.
Over the next few moments, the screen will display SENDING, RECEIVING, and
PROCESSING.
 If the CLEAR TERMINAL STORAGE? prompt appears, press the
Note: Selecting YES will delete all transactions in terminal memory, including debit/credit
transactions. If you have started processing transactions and wish to keep them in memory,
then select NO.
11. When the WELCOME/BONJOUR screen appears, your terminal is ready to process gift card and
loyalty card transactions.

