20. When the screen displays REINITIALIZATION REQUIRED, do one of the following:

If you wish to use dial backup (used when static IP over Ethernet is unavailable), follow
the instructions on page 13.
 If you do not wish to use dial backup, go back to Read this first: Overview procedures on
page 1 (continue at step 6.b).

1.7.3 Using Dial to Communicate with Moneris Test Host

The default communication type on the terminal is DIAL. If you do not need to dial a prefix (e.g., 9)
to connect to an outside line, you do not need to configure any other dial parameters. Go back to
Read this first: Overview procedures on page 1 (continue at step 6.b).
If you need to dial a prefix (e.g. "9") to connect to an outside line, do the following:
1. Begin at the REINITIALIZATION REQUIRED screen (or WELCOME/BONJOUR screen).
2. Press the key twice.
The ENTER ADMIN CODE entry screen appears.
3. Key in 15, and press the green
The DIAL CONFIG menu appears.
4. Press the green
The PREFIX entry screen appears.
5. Key in the dial Prefix number, and press the green
The DIAL CONFIG menu appears.
6. Press the red key twice.
The REINITIALIZATION REQUIRED screen (or WELCOME/BONJOUR screen) appears.
7. Go back to Read this first: Overview procedures on page 1 (continue at step 6.b).
