Data bits
Data bits is the number of bits used in the data representation of characters in the telegrams.
The rate for Modbus RTU is 8 data bits and can not be changed.
Parity
Specify if parity should be used to detect errors in the data.

Communication Advanced Settings
Inter-Telegram Timeout Mode Settings
By default, Inter-telegram timeout mode Default (3.5 characters) is used.
This is according the Modbus RTU standard, which advocates the use of a silent period
equivalent to 3.5 characters between each message. The silent period is used to find out where
one message ends and the next begins.
