Turn off the server and peripheral devices and remove the top cover.

Touch a metal part of the server to discharge static electricity.

Release the slide lock in slot 5 (1), and remove the slot cover (2). Remove the
PCI card holder in slot 5.

Attach the parallel port option to slot 5 (1), and fix it with the slide lock (2).

Be sure to keep the removed slot cover and PCI card holder for later use.
